About Patricia

Patricia Fincher Harless is a fourth generation Texan with deep roots in the community as an active small business and civic leader.  Her parents started a family automobile dealership in 1959.  In 1984, Patricia joined the business as Chief Financial Officer where she integrated, reorganized, balanced and controlled assets to achieve profitability.  She purchased the family business after her father’s death in 1996, and is the current owner of Fred Fincher Motors in Houston.

As an active civic and charity leader, Patricia is past president of the American Heart Association, and a North Harris Montgomery Community College District Foundation Board Member.  She is also a lifetime member of the 100 Club of Houston and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, as well as a member of several Chamber, Rotary, Networking, and Republican organizations.  Patricia was appointed by then Governor George W. Bush and re-appointed by Governor Rick Perry to the Texas Motor Vehicle Board (1998-2005).

In 2006, Patricia was elected to the Texas House of Representatives for District #126.  She serves on the Transportation, County Affairs, and Rules and Resolutions committee. 
The Texas Association of Business gave Patricia the “Champion for Free Enterprise” award for her work to ensure Texas continues to have a good business climate.

Born in Houston, Texas, she received a BS in Business Management from LeTourneau University.  Patricia lives in Spring with her husband of 22 years, Sam Harless and their 19-year-old son, Samuel Justin.  They are active members of Champion Forest Baptist Church.
