The Harris County Republican Primary is now history. I am honored to be the Republican nominee for State Representative of District 126. The November general election, however, is quickly approaching and again, I am asking you to commit your support in the early days of this next campaign phase.

Once again, we will be facing a tough opponent; one who will fight hard to win. Democrats throughout the state have won long held republican seats. It is critical that we take nothing for granted. We ran a positive campaign during the primary. I know we all care passionately about the issues: to reduce our taxes, secure our borders and keep local control of our schools. In the legislature, I will fight for you but first I have to win in November.
Winning in November will mean finding additional donors, voters, and supporters - door to door. I need your pledge to be part of the team to help me reach out to voters. We need you to register voters, block walk, distribute yard signs, make calls and work at the polls on Election Day. These are the grassroots’ activities that win elections and I can’t do it without you!Together we can make a difference for our great state of Texas. Thank you in advance for your support, encouragement and vote.

Sincerely,

Patricia Harles

NOTE: A new bill signed into law by Governor Perry - HB 873 - limits property owners' associations from enforcing deed restrictions concerning political signs at residences. "A political sign may be placed at a residence, providing the sign is no larger than 4' x 6', 90 days prior to an election and ten days afterward, regardless of any deed restrictions which may state otherwise."
